Fleet FM's ultimate 3 day New Years party is on once again. If you haven't been before it is something to experience. Lots of bands and fun times at a premium venue up north. This year we are returning to the Tangihua lodge.

As you never know what happens in the woods, so it is impossible to say what will happen at the gig but in previous years just some of the things that happened were soup kitchens, sausage sizzles, film club, slip and slide, workshops, bollywood aerobics, themed nights and music video making.

:: MUSIC

The lineup is looking something like this: Royal Falcon, Tiddabades, Nice Birds, Lucky Paul, Nevernudes, Mothers of Darkness, Lost Rockets, Autumn Splendor, Glowdogs, Scarlett Lashes, Bond Street Bridge, Sam Hamilton, Nigel Wright, Tim Coster, Heaven + Paradise, Ivy Rossiter,, Sidewalk Mess, Uncle Barnie,  Yam Jams, Bex n Effex (Quay Street Social Club) and Manaia Toa (Dub Step Alliance),  Elijah One, Bobo Cannon, DJ Marionette, Club Casualties (Casual B and C), DJ No Friends, Vodafone Warriorz (DJ set), Ronin, Cellar Door DJs and more announced at the gig!

We will be posting a schedule up in a few days.

There will be an open decks policy throughout the day and most of the second night so if you are a DJ feel free to bring some records/cds/whatever along.
Also, we will be operating Fleetwaters FM up there so that people will be able to listen in from all over the site.

:: WHERE

Tangihua Lodge is located 15 minutes South of Whangarei nestled in the Tangihua forest. It is miles away from anything so noise restrictions are not a problem.

To get there you can either walk or drive there.
If we get enough interest we will run a bus service, or you could try putting a 'need lift' message in the Fleet guestbook.

The lodge has an incredible set up. There is shelter if it rains, a massive fully furnished kitchen with refrigeration, hot showers, bunks for 60 people (although most people prefer the campsite because it will be noisy in the lodge), a river for swimming, and a best of all... a defunc ropes course!

:: WHEN

The party begins on the 31st and ends on the 2nd. Turn up and leave when ever you want.

:: TICKETS

From now on you can only purchase tickets from Real Groovy or get tickets on the door for 90 bucks.

:: FOOD AND DRINK

It's BYO alcohol but please be carefull if you're bringing glass!!
It's also BYO food and there is a massive kitchen for cooking in. We will probably put on a small barbeque on the first night and a donation soup kitchen on the second.

:: RADIO

We will be operating Fleetwaters FM on the site so you will be able to hear what music is going on in the main area with an FM radio. For this reason we recommend you bring a portable battery operated radio.

Please take all rubbish with you when you leave
Don't forget to bring a torch, a portable radio and music if you want to DJ
